With the theme of ‘Botanicals’, medicinal mushrooms came to mind – Turkey Tail and Reishi mushrooms have amazing health benefits.
This pin is made from sterling silver, copper, brass and cotton. As it oxidises and tarnishes, it will add to the mushroom-effect.
I created this pin for the Jewellers and Metalsmiths Group of Qld’s annual pinswap and it was received by Penny Gillespie.
