With a little extra time on my hands these days, I took the opportunity to learn a new material and technique – enamel.
Enamel is a fine glass powder that I have torch fired onto copper.
These were the first few creations: Red ovals with black enamel threads
Enamel ring – blue enamel on domed copper top rivetted to a sterling silver ring:
Triangle and semi-circle shapes in different colours. These are finished with sterling silver hooks:
